Who is YISC?

The Yukon Invasive Species Council (YISC) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting Yukon’s natural landscapes and biodiversity from the threats of invasive species. We work with communities, governments, and partners across the territory to raise awareness, share knowledge, and support on-the-ground action that prevents the introduction and spread of harmful plants and animals. Through education, outreach, and research, we help Yukoners safeguard the ecosystems, cultures, and economies that depend on a healthy, resilient environment.
